Working Processes

Integrated buried sewage treatment equipment to remove organic pollutants and ammonia nitrogen mainly depends on the AO biological treatment process in the equipment. The working principle is that, in the A level, due to the high depth of sewage organic matter, microorganisms are in anoxic state, They convert and decompose the organic ammonia in the sewage into NH3-N, use organic carbon as a donor, convert NO-2-N and NO-3-N into N2, and also use part of the organic carbon and NH3-N to synthesize new cellular material. Therefore, the A-level pool has the function of organic matter removal to reduce the load of the subsequent aerobic pool for nitrification, relying on the high depth of organic matter present in the raw water to complete denitrification, and ultimately eliminate nitrogen eutrophication pollution. 
 

In the O-level, because the depth of organic matter has been greatly reduced, but there is still a certain amount of organic matter and high NH3-N exist. Among them, aerobic microorganisms decompose organic matter into CO2 and H2O; autotrophic bacteria (nitrifying bacteria) use inorganic carbon produced by decomposition of organic matter or CO2 in the air as a nutrient source, and convert NH-3-N in the sewage into N-2-ON and N-3-ON. The effluent of the O-level pond partially refluxed to the A-level pond, providing a receptor for the A-level pond, and ultimately eliminating nitrogen pollution through denitrification.
