The research team first visited the site along Mingyang Fourth Road, where corrective measures for misconnections and mixed connections are underway, to assess the progress of the pipeline network renovation. They then headed to the Huahong Mingyang Reclaimed Water Plant, where Lin Taicheng, President and General Manager of Huahong Water Group, warmly welcomed them along with his team. At the Huahong Water Group’s Water Ecology and Environmental Science Education Base, Lin Taicheng shared insights into the company’s innovative environmental technologies and highlighted several notable success stories. Afterward, the team toured the plant premises to inspect the operational status of the wastewater treatment facilities, listening closely to a detailed briefing on the plant’s ongoing upgrades to meet higher standards, as well as the challenges faced during its implementation.

At the conclusion of the investigation, He Shanghan emphasized: "We must strictly implement the requirements of the central environmental inspection rectification, accelerate the upgrading and expansion project of the wastewater treatment plant, and ensure that water quality consistently meets discharge standards. Additionally, we need to conduct meticulous inspections and remediation of the pipeline network to eliminate the risk of sewage overflow, delivering high-quality results that will stand up to the scrutiny of the environmental inspection. Meanwhile, relevant departments should strengthen coordination, establish a robust long-term monitoring mechanism, and build a solid ecological safeguard to support the green, high-quality development of Jiangnan District."

This survey further reinforces the primary responsibility for pollution prevention, providing clear direction for Mingyang Reclaimed Water Plant to enhance its environmental management and effectively tackle the battle for ecological protection.
