Industry research delegations from environmental protection associations across provinces and cities participating in the ASEAN Expo paid a visit to the Huahong Mingyang Reclaimed Water Plant for exchanges and on-site inspections.

On September 18, Wei Haopeng, President of the Guangxi Environmental Protection Industry Association, led a delegation of environmental protection industry associations from various provinces and cities participating in the ASEAN Expo to visit the Huahong Mingyang Reclaimed Water Plant in Guangxi. The group conducted an on-site inspection, research, and exchange activity as part of the post‑conference matchmaking event for green and low‑carbon industries and technologies between China and ASEAN. Li Nan, Assistant to the President of Huahong Water Group and Plant Manager of the Mingyang Plant, along with other staff members, extended a warm welcome.
The research delegation first conducted an on-site inspection of Mingyang Plant’s ecological environment and the operational status of its process equipment, gaining a thorough understanding of the entire wastewater treatment process and its core technologies. Subsequently, the group visited the Huahong Water Services’ Water Ecological Environment Science Education Base, where they expressed their appreciation for the Group’s investments in and achievements in environmental protection education.
At the exchange symposium, both sides engaged in an in-depth discussion on topics such as innovations in wastewater treatment technologies and pathways for green, low-carbon development. President Wei Haopeng and his delegation highly commended Huahong Water Services Group for its achievements in wastewater treatment, technological R&D, and environmental science outreach, noting that this visit has provided valuable insights for fostering industrial and technological cooperation between Guangxi and ASEAN in the green and low-carbon sectors.
This fact-finding and research mission has further strengthened communication between industry associations and environmental protection enterprises, injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of the regional environmental protection industry and the promotion and application of green, low-carbon technologies.
