The Fushui Plant of Huahong Water Services Group’s distributed photovoltaic project has been successfully connected to the grid and is now in operation.

Recently, the 964.72 kW distributed photovoltaic project of Fusui County Huahong Wastewater Treatment Co., Ltd. was successfully connected to the grid. The project operates under a “self-generation for self-use, with surplus power fed into the grid” model, and its current self-consumption rate is approaching 70%. While ensuring the safety of the wastewater treatment process, the plant has achieved resource recycling, improved water quality, significantly reduced electricity costs, and cut carbon emissions, thereby unleashing “green momentum” for corporate development.

While ensuring the safety of the wastewater treatment process, the plant has achieved resource recycling, improved water quality, significantly reduced electricity costs, and cut carbon emissions, thereby unleashing “green momentum” for corporate development.

On May 19, Lin Jinhua, Executive Director of the China Environmental Protection Industry Association, Executive Vice President of the Guangxi Environmental Protection Industry Association, President of the Nanning–Fuzhou Chamber of Commerce, and Chairman of Huahong Water Services Group, together with Wu Wenwei, President of Tuorui Energy Group Co., Ltd., visited the Huahong Wastewater Treatment Plant in Fusui County (hereinafter referred to as the “Fusui Plant”) to conduct a field inspection of the operational status of Huahong Water Services Group’s newly constructed photovoltaic project. Accompanying them were Wu Guanghui, Senior Advisor to the Chairman of Huahong Water Services Group, and Hu Yuankuo, Executive Dean of the Technology Research Institute. Li Jinrong, Deputy Director of the Operations Department and General Manager of the Fusui Plant, along with his team, presented an overview and demonstration of the project’s overall performance at the Fusui Plant.

Lin Jinhua, Wu Wenwei, and their delegation conducted an on-site inspection of the photovoltaic panel installation, equipment operation, and grid‑connected power generation, expressing approval for the project’s compliance with standards and its technological innovations. Wu Guanghui provided a detailed overview of the photovoltaic system’s technical features, installed capacity, and average daily power output, with particular emphasis on the high‑efficiency monocrystalline silicon PV modules and the intelligent operation‑and‑maintenance system employed in the project.

At the symposium, both sides engaged in an in-depth exchange on the project’s operational details. Wu Wenwei stated that the project utilizes photovoltaic materials compliant with international standards, produces no harmful electromagnetic radiation during operation, and is well-suited to the unique conditions of wastewater treatment plants. Lin Jinhua emphasized that the application of new energy is a key driver of corporate green transformation, and that the team must, while ensuring safety, continuously optimize the operation and maintenance management of the photovoltaic system, enhance power-generation efficiency, and explore new pathways for the green, low-carbon development of environmental protection facilities.
