Recently, State Council Order No. 802, the “Regulations on Ensuring Payment to Small and Medium-sized Enterprises” (hereinafter referred to as the “Regulations”), was promulgated following its revision and will enter into force on June 1, 2025.

Recently, the State Council issued Order No. 802, promulgating the revised Regulations on Ensuring Payment to Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (hereinafter referred to as the “Regulations”), which will take effect on June 1, 2025.

On March 27, Lin Jinhua, Executive Director of the China Environmental Protection Industry Association, Executive Vice President of the Guangxi Environmental Protection Industry Association, President of the Nanning–Fuzhou Chamber of Commerce, and Chairman of Huahong Water Services Group, chaired a special meeting to study and interpret the Regulations and to deploy related tasks. The meeting was attended by group executives, mid‑level and senior management personnel, as well as heads of all branch plants and project leaders.

The meeting was conducted in a format of “policy briefing plus work deployment,” and attendees unanimously agreed that the issuance of the Regulations represents an important national measure to safeguard and support the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, while also providing essential safeguards for the sound and sustainable growth of private environmental protection firms, thereby bolstering their confidence in pursuing innovation and entrepreneurship. We will earnestly study and thoroughly grasp the spirit of the Regulations, proactively address the issue of overdue payments, achieve substantive progress, and promote the healthy development of our company.
