The Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China was held in Beijing from October 20 to 23. On November 1, Huahong Water Services Group convened a meeting to study and implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. Senior executives and heads of various departments attended the meeting both online and offline. The session was chaired by Lin Jinhua, Executive Director of the China Environmental Protection Industry Association, Executive Vice President of the Guangxi Environmental Protection Industry Association, President of the Nanning–Fuzhou Chamber of Commerce, and Chairman of Huahong Water Services Group.
The meeting commenced with a presentation by Mr. Wu, Senior Advisor to the Chairman of Huahong Water Services Group, who delivered a report on studying and implementing the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech at the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, as well as the Session’s “Suggestions.” Drawing on the significant implications, guiding principles, key objectives, and major strategic tasks for economic and social development during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, he provided a systematic and in-depth analysis, closely aligned with the practical realities of Huahong Water Services Group’s development.
Lin Taicheng, President and General Manager of Huahong Water Group, emphasized that pragmatism is the foundation, while forward-looking vision is paramount. In the face of new industry dynamics, we must boldly forge new pathways within traditional sectors, deeply integrate technological innovation with industrial innovation, and leverage cutting-edge technologies such as AI as key drivers of growth. By harnessing innovation, we will continuously cultivate new forms of productive forces and chart a course for the future amid both risks and opportunities.
Lin Jinhua set forth specific work requirements for implementing the spirit of the plenary session: First, firmly grasp the strategic positioning of the 15th Five-Year Plan period, swiftly launch a vigorous campaign to study and apply the session’s guiding principles, and effectively translate learning outcomes into tangible results that drive technological progress within the enterprise. Second, conduct in-depth research on various policies designed to benefit businesses, achieving sustainable development by stabilizing supply chains and strengthening enterprises. Third, decode the core essence of new‑type productive forces, develop independently owned products, leverage AI‑driven innovation to drive transformation, and, through the Pan‑Pearl River Delta environmental‑protection cross‑border e‑commerce platform, promote the export of intelligent environmental‑protection equipment and technical services, closely integrating the cultivation of new‑type productive forces with market expansion. Fourth, place great emphasis on translating learning into practical outcomes, address the key challenges hindering enterprise development, and advance a new development paradigm characterized by higher quality and greater sustainability.
The convening of this conference has charted the course for Huahong Water Services Group’s development during the 15th Five-Year Plan period. Participants unanimously stated that they will take the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee as their guiding principle, steadfastly leverage scientific and technological innovation to drive industrial growth, and contribute to the company’s high-quality development.
